Course Set - HLTAID009 & UETDRMP018 (CPR & LVR)

This combined course set delivers the essential lifesaving and electrical rescue skills required for anyone working with or near low voltage (LV) electrical equipment. It aligns with industry, licensing and workplace safety requirements, making it one of the most commonly required training combinations across electrical and trade environments.

Participants learn how to perform safe, effective CPR on adults in line with current ARC guidelines, alongside the specialised skills needed to respond to an electrical incident. The LVR component covers assessing hazards, managing live LV panel risks, isolating power, removing a casualty from live contact, and providing immediate first aid until further help arrives.

Training is hands-on, scenario-based and grounded in real-world electrical safety practices. It ensures learners can act quickly, confidently and safely during time-critical emergencies.

This course set is essential for:

  • Electricians and apprentices

  • Tradespeople and maintenance teams

  • Workers required to maintain current LVR/CPR certification for licensing or compliance

Participants leave with the skills to manage LV emergencies, provide effective CPR, and contribute to a safer workplace.
